The HTC Vive Pro is one of the most technically advanced VR headsets yet. Boasting improved specifications over the Oculus headsets and even the Index in some areas. The Vive Pro is quite the technology leap when compared the it’s precessor the original HTC Vive. Visually, the two headsets look relatively the same, the main difference being that the Vive Pro now comes built with high-quality headphones installed into the headset.

HTC Vive Foam Replacement 10mm
The Vive Pro foam replacement from VR Cover has a supersoft inner core foam and PU leather on the outside. The texture feels super nice and it’s also very easy to wipe clean when required. This is the 10mm version of the foam, VR Cover also offer a 16mm foam cover which can be found below. This 10mm foam will allow your eyes to get closer to the screen, thus increasing your in-game fov. Some VR gamers swear by this and say it increases the immersion ten-fold. It can however cause eye strain faster, it really comes down to the person using it and personal preference.
I personally prefer the 10mm foam but if you have a slightly smaller head or are looking for comfort first, you may be more inclined to go with the 16mm version.

This is the same foam as above, just the 16mm version. Some people say this one is more comfortable, while the 10mm version offers increased fov and immersion. Again, it comes down to personal preference and which one you think is right for you (or your head!)

HTC Vive Pro Headstrap Foam Replacement Set
In my opinion this is a hugely underrated accessory for the HTC Vive Pro. I’ve always had a slight issue with the Vive Pro fitting my head, feeling that it is just a bit too big. When using this foam headstrap from VR Cover, there is enough extra depth that it stays on my head much better. It does take some getting used to and the foam padding also needs to wear in a bit before it feels it’s softest, but we would definitely recommend this headstrap for the extra comfort. Even more so if, like me, you have issues with the Vive Pro headset fitting on your head!
